Rock Island is located in Lake Michigan at the end of the Door Peninsula. It is a Wisconsin State Park, which can be accessed by a ferry. Cars and bikes are not permitted on the island. There are stone houses on the island that visitors can tour. They were built by a wealthy inventor who owned the Rock Island until 1945.
