Talk:Areas of Concern (AOCs)From Great Lakes WikiWhere do you think the video clip should go? i gave some thought to putting it in the citizen media box, feel free to move it. --Rck 01:46, 12 Dec 2006 (EST)
I have no preference on the italic. Whatever you think. One issue to consider with the new layout is that it necessitates scrolling up and down to refer from list to map. I'm not sure that it's a big deal, but it should be weighed. --Dave 13:32, 8 Dec 2006 (EST)
The delisted sites are listed they say (delisted) after them. Dave- did you want all the text at the bottom to be in italics? Boron11 11:47, 8 Dec 2006 (EST) The map looks fantastic guys!!! Great job! I did some word editing on your intro just to tighten it a bit. Make sure the meaning is unchanged. I would include the delisted sites. People may want to contribute to them. Delisting is controversial. Some people think sites are not ready for delisting. Others think delisting criteria is hopelessly vague. --Dave 09:01, 8 Dec 2006 (EST) Just playing around with a few things, sorry I forgot to log in, let me you what you think of the changes, they don't need to stay. -Rachel--67.167.189.166 19:19, 7 Dec 2006 (EST) there is no dot for Spanish Harbour, ON might be missing one where lake erie and lake ontario meet: should be four.... might need to add titles for Collingwood Harbour 36 and Severn Sound 37(delisted but dots appear on the map). I think that we may want to make the map fit the entire screen if we used a labeled map, and put the list under the map, I dont think it is possible to make the areas clickable on the map, at least not yet. -Rachel the page looks really screwy now (on my computer at home). the columns/outer boxes are really skinny and awkward... I'll try to fix it but it might look funny on the class computers- Sarah68.255.61.249 23:44, 29 Nov 2006 (EST) Sarah All AOC articles will be linked from here. Each will feature our AOC logo to differentiate them from other articles that focus on rivers, lakes and regions that are not areas of concern. If we can figure it out the AOC logo will be a link back to the AOC main page. Each AOC article should have the definition of AOC toward the top. ________________________ Hey, I like the logo. I also like that you're brining in RS&GIS on campus. I do a lot of work with these people and they're a fun group to collaborate with.
