Talk:Rouge River Present

From Great Lakes Wiki

Hey gang, does this page link to the relevant sites internal to the wiki? A lot of links going outside. I'm not sure if we've even linked back to the Rouge River page from this one. --Dave 16:17, 21 Nov 2006 (EST)

I uploaded the first version of my slideshow to youtube. The embed code doesn't seem to be working!69.208.255.67 10:39, 4 Nov 2006 (EST)Sarah

This section will cover on-going events in the Rouge River Watershed. New and original first person content can be added here such as summaries of meeting and events in the Rouge River Watershed.

My contribution: There is a celebration of the completion of stream bank stabilization and buffer project in Fairway Park in Birmingham being put on by the Friends of the Rouge on Oct 28 (http://www.therouge.org/Calendar/calendars.htm). I plan to contact the organizers and attend the event. I will interview group members and attendees. I will summarize the project and how it fits into the remediation plans for the Rouge.

Our trip to the Rouge River as a group (a different area than Fairway Park) during the first two weeks of November will also be reported on here and/or the front page and will be written by me. If I find another event to cover it will appear here as well.

Broken link?

This link http://www.therouge.org/Programs/Rouge%20Rescue/RougeRescue2006/rouge_rescue_river_day_06.html appears to be broken. I can't get to therouge.org at all. Someone changed the link in the article to remove the %20 (url encoded blank) and I put it back but the link is broken (at least right now) either way. I changed it back for now but perhaps someone that knows the site better could look into it. ++Lar: t/c 11:48, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
